Mr. Troublemaker!

Well Lucas is getting older everyday and that means he is getting into more and more trouble every day! He is a very fast crawler and he can be down the hall before we can do anything about it. He is so close to walking; he pulls himself up with everything and will stand on his own without holding on. He loves getting into everything, which is funny but gets kind of frustrating!

Here is an example of Lucas getting into trouble. He grabbed some magazines (yes those are the Ensigns) and started to rip them up.

But how can you be mad at that cute face?

Luke with his mom. He loves playing with mom.

Such a handsome guy!

Fun at the Greenbelt

Taking a walk on the Greenbelt. There has finally been some nice weather, so we decided to get out and have a picnic and take a nice walk. Lucas loves being outside so it was great!

Kryssi feeding the geese. She was a little (or a lot) scared of them but no fingers were bitten taking this picture.

The first time Lucas has seen geese or ducks. He didn’t seem too scared of them, actually Kryssi seemed more scared!

New Pictures

Lucas loves this toy he got from Amy. He is also trying to stand up all the time now. He uses anything he can to pull himself up. Sometimes he gets into trouble, like in this picture, where he starts to fall and can’t stop himself.

Alf-Alfa!

He is getting way to big! We had to lower his crib mattress down so he wouldn’t fall over the edge!

He loves looking in the mirror and seeing people behind him!

He is still crawling everywhere. He gets into anything and everything. He likes to crawl under his high chair, for some reason, and he reaches up and plays with the straps.

9-Months Old!

Lucas turned 9-months old today!  It is amazing how time flies by so fast.  It just seems like yesterday he was a little guy (which I guess he still is!).  We had his doctors appointment today, and it was his first since his 6-month appointment so we were excited to see how he was doing.

He had no shots so it wasn’t as traumatic as usual.  He weighs 16 pounds 8 ounces, which was the 4th percentile, and was 28 1/4″ long, which was the 50th percentile.  So he is still a really small guy, but the doctor said he is completely healthy and that’s all that matters!

Getting ready to go to the doctor!

9-Months old!  He loves standing up and he tries to do it all the time!  We’re pretty sure he will be walking before he learns to crawl real good, though he is getting better at getting his stomach off the ground when he crawls.

He is such a cute boy!  We just can’t get over how lucky we are to have him in our lives.

Happy Easter!

Getting ready for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma Kotter’s!  Sitting on the front steps with the cousins.

Lucas got himself one egg!  It was a little big for him to hold but he managed to do it.  He doesn’t like touching grass so I had to hold him up the whole time!

Sitting with his cousins after the little kids Egg Hunt.  Lucas is trying to grab an egg away from Alexis!  We weren’t quick enough to get a picture of it but after we set him down, Lucas just turned to Alexis and gave her a kiss on the cheek!  It was pretty cute.

Getting a ride in a wheelbarrow!

Kryssi out hunting for eggs.  She found the Golden Egg, which means she got $5!

Riding on Grandpa’s shoulders.

Easter morning before heading to church.

New pictures!

Lucas playing with his new toy he got from Aunt Amy!  He loves it!!  He stares in the mirror and he likes to lean in and put his face against it.  It looks like he is giving himself a kiss!

Lucas has discovered out how to sit up on his own and now he tries to pull himself up to a standing position with everything in reach!

Standing up on his own!  He is getting to big.

It looks like he is walking but he was really falling.  Mom caught him though so no worries!

He crawled over to his high chair and is trying to use it to stand up.  He can’t quite get it yet but he is getting closer each day!

Lucas and mom made quite the mess.  Kryssi would tear the paper a little and Lucas would rip off a strip.  He had quite a fun time doing it and playing in the scraps afterwards.

Some New Pictures!

Playing in his crib. He has learned how to hold on to the side and he tries to pull himself up.  We are going to have to lower the mattress down lower soon!

He loves chewing on anything but especially if it tastes good!  He doesn’t have any real teeth in it but he still loves chewing on licorice.

It got pretty messy though so I don’t think we’ll be letting him chew on any licorice for awhile!
