This past Saturday we went to a Family Fun Day, hosted by EIRMC, at Snake River Landing. We stumbled upon it last year and the kids really enjoyed it, so we wanted to go back again this year.
They have a teddy bear clinic, where they give you a teddy bear and you go through various stages, helping your teddy bear with a broken leg. They also have free lunch, lots of booths with games and treats, bouncy castles, people dressed up as characters (like Star Wars) and other stuff.
It was really windy this year and not very warm, so we ended up not staying very long but it was still fun.

He was super excited about all his presents this year. You can hear him gasp a bit in the video above and then his voice gets really high as he’s so excited. He did that for pretty much every present he opened, which made it fun for us.

We went to Mesa Falls for part of Memorial Day this year. The weather was hit or miss while we were there, so we ended up not going to the upper falls, just the lower, as it started to rain. The kids had a good time though and we love being outdoors.

Samuel has started to become more vocal (besides just crying) and loves to talk and smile at people. He had his 2-month appointment and is now up to 12lbs 5oz, which is only around the 50th percentile but for our kids, that’s great. He sleeps pretty good at nights as well, so he’s been our best baby, so far (knock on wood). Fourth time’s the charm I guess!

Lucas did really well at his piano recital. He said he was pretty nervous to have to announce what songs he was playing, but not nervous to actually play. We need to find him a new piano teacher in Shelley so he can keep progressing.
