Lucas is playing baseball and McKinley is playing softball this summer. They both have games Monday and Wednesday, so we are at the park from about 5:00PM to 7:30PM. Makes dinner and FHE difficult (I guess we’ll just have a picnic dinner twice a week all month, and move FHE to a different night) but the kids enjoy it.
Decided to go hiking to the Darby Wind Cave. Didn’t realize they’re would still be snow on the ground
Sam loved being outdoorsTrail ended up being so snow covered we had to stop and go back. Lucas and McKinley are at the top of that snow pileStandard picture in front of the antler archesFound a children’s museum in Jackson we decided to try out. It was pretty small and didn’t look like much from the outside, but it actually was really nice.

Lucas loves to read and has earned lots of rewards this past school year (field trips, treats, etc). We got a call from his school wanting us to come in to an assembly, because he was going to get a “special” award, they said.
It ended up being a much bigger assembly than I was thinking, lots of parents there and lots of awards given. Lucas ended up getting the 4th overall top reader in the school, which was pretty awesome. He got a nice trophy and $25 from some sponsors, which he was super excited about.

The Idaho Falls Temple open house has been going on for a couple weeks now. We got the opportunity to go just a couple days after it started and it was great. It was nice to be back inside the temple, as it’s been closed for quite a while for renovations. It was also really awesome to take our kids inside and let them see it.
On the bus ride over (probably their favorite part)
It was a very rainy day but the temple was still beautiful
Last months Pack Meeting was a carnival, which the kids loved. They had a bunch of different games to play and if you played them all, you got some popcorn and cotton candy.
We had a good Easter this year. We started with a Easter egg hunt at Taylor park. There was a decent amount of people but nothing as crazy as the city hunts, so that’s good. They had it separated into various age groups as well, which made it nicer. It was sunny but really cold, but the kids loved it.
Then we spent the day at the Gregory’s, having lunch, dyeing Easter eggs and doing another Easter egg hunt. The kids got pretty spoiled with all the candy they got.
