This past Saturday we went to a Family Fun Day, hosted by EIRMC, at Snake River Landing. We stumbled upon it last year and the kids really enjoyed it, so we wanted to go back again this year.
They have a teddy bear clinic, where they give you a teddy bear and you go through various stages, helping your teddy bear with a broken leg. They also have free lunch, lots of booths with games and treats, bouncy castles, people dressed up as characters (like Star Wars) and other stuff.
It was really windy this year and not very warm, so we ended up not staying very long but it was still fun.

We wanted to make it to a Chukars baseball game this summer and I guess technically it was still summer, though late summer. We got free tickets so it ended up working out perfectly. The kids enjoyed it for a while but got bored eventually, so we left before the finish, which was fine since they had school the next morning.

Our ward held a campout the end of August, at one of the girls camps around here. We decided just to go up for the night, have dinner and some fun, but not stay the night. I would like to try camping at some point but it’s a little hard still with William.

End of August we had a really big storm move through, dropping a bunch of rain really fast and a bunch of hail. Lucas was at football practice, so Kryssi raced to go pick him up as it started to rain, then got caught driving in the hail storm.
It ended up ruining a lot of our garden, though luckily most was already passed growing. We also had picked the plums off our tree just the night before, so we didn’t lose a ton of those, which was a blessing.
