Spring break trip

Lucas and McKinley got free Jazz tickets since they played in the Jr. Jazz league. They also sell extra tickets for $10 and the game happened to be at the start of the kids spring break. So we decided to head to the game and spend a few days in Utah visiting family.

We went to the Jazz game, Ikea, Museum of Natural Curiosity and This is the Place Park, as well as spent time with family. The weather was great so the kids spent a lot of time playing outside.

Weather was nice so the kids spent a lot of time outside. One thing we miss here in Shelley is not having a neighborhood with sidewalks we can take walks and rides on

Grandma and grandpa sent some money for the kids for Christmas, since sending presents from the Philippines isn’t easy. We took the kids to the store to pick out what they wanted. Sam found this ride on car on clearance at Walmart and he loves it
William picked out some Transformer toys
Lucas trying out his stuff. Spoiled kids

Fall pictures

One morning we had a bunch of turkeys in our front yard. These turkeys have been around most of this year but they usually are further down the lane, close to Ehler’s. And normally we only see 3 or 4 but there were at least 10 in our yard that morning

Game Lucas put together for FHE
Beautiful sunset
First snow of the season. It was mostly raining so it was really wet snow.

Carving pumpkins

Our pumpkins didn’t grow super great this year in our garden but we had enough for the kids to carve
Samuel had no problem cleaning out his pumpkin but he wanted nothing to do with it once I started carving it
These two eventually got their pumpkins cleaned out, though they weren’t happy about it

All lit up

The next morning it was really foggy and the moon was still big and bright as I walked the kids down the lane

Football

Lucas did tackle football for the first time this year. It was definitely an adjustment for him, with the more physical nature of it, learning all the plays and having practice every single day. But he loved it and made great improvements over the course of the season.

They had a game in Jackson, which was a decent drive for a grid kid game but it was a beautiful field
