Sheetrock seams are taped and last exterior doors are installed.

Sheetrock is all hung up in the basement and garage now.

Sheetrock is getting installed. It’s hung up everywhere on the main floor, starting now on the basement.

Doors and insulation installed.

Electrical and HVAC is finished and inspections for that done (and passed!). Fireplace picked out and installed, as well as the furnace (though gas lines won’t be run to our house until after the ground has thawed).

All framing is finally done, most importantly the stairs, so we don’t have to crawl through the window well anymore to see the downstairs! Also finished the framing on the closets in the kids rooms and we have windows, which makes the house feel more complete. And they started on HVAC and got most of the rough-in plumbing done. Lots of progress this week!

Roof is done!

Finishing up most of the framing of the main floor and getting all trusses up and some shingles on.

Most of the framing of the upstairs walls is done. Putting in the septic system. Finishing the well. Starting on some trusses.

Basement mostly framed out now (still need closets, stairs and a few minor things). Floor joists and floor put in place and all external walls on the actual house (not garage) are up!
