We were a little behind on when we normally decorate for Christmas this year but we did eventually get our tree up and other decorations out.

We didn’t do much for the 4th this year, which was fine to have a more laid back celebration. I had a few fireworks we did earlier in the day, though Samuel and William were pretty scared of those. We then went over to Kryssi’s parent’s house that night for dinner and then they took Lucas and McKinley to bike into the fireworks. Kryssi and I went home and watched the fireworks from our front yard, which was nice.

For Easter this year, we went to the easter egg hunt at Taylor Park. It was a little chilly but not too bad. The kids all got lots of eggs and it was all done in 15 minutes, which is always nice.
Then after watching conference, we went to the Gregory’s and dyed easter eggs and did another easter egg hunt.

We decided to head to the aquarium on President’s Day, since the kids were out of school and I didn’t have to work. A new aquarium opened fairly recently in Idaho Falls and we decided to go check it out. It’s definitely a work in progress and not nearly as nice as larger aquariums, but it was still a lot of fun and they had quite a few hands-on exhibits, which the kids liked.
