After Christmas fun

Going in for her hernia surgery
Ready to start work on his dig set
Trying to find all the treasures

Playing some new video games
Showing off his new pajamas
Playing in the igloo they built
Grandma and grandpa sent some money for the kids for Christmas, since sending presents from the Philippines isn’t easy. We took the kids to the store to pick out what they wanted. Sam found this ride on car on clearance at Walmart and he loves it
William picked out some Transformer toys
Lucas trying out his stuff. Spoiled kids

Isabelle’s baby blessing

We decided to bless Isabelle on December 30th, as some family was already going to be in town for Christmas/New Years. It wasn’t the best timing, with Kryssi having surgery just a few days before, but it worked out. The weather also wasn’t the best but luckily everyone got here safely.

Beautiful girl

Getting some lunch after the blessing

It started to snow right before church and started coming down pretty heavy once we got back home. Made things a little slick getting back to cars

Christmas Eve

Ready to open one present on Christmas Eve

Going caroling
Paul had put together this trailer for us to ride in, from an old manure spreader
It was a little cold but still fun
Singing some songs
Kids loved these little chairs
Talent show
Playing some games
Tired girl

We don’t put very many presents under the tree until Christmas Eve, so the kids always love bringing them all down
Kids all in red

Someone liked eating the candy as much as the decorating

Opening a little present that Kaitlin sent

2 weeks old!

We’ve made it 2 weeks! Time has sure flown by. Isabelle is growing and changing, though still not sleeping great at night. For her two week doctor appointment, everything looked great. She’s gained some weight and is healthy.

Getting her first bath at home (more of just a wash down)

A more real bath. She didn’t really like it
She’s gained some weight since she was born, which is great

Isabelle Leigh Kotter

Isabelle Leigh Kotter was born on Tuesday, November 20 at 2:27 AM. Kryssi woke me up at about 12:30 AM that morning, saying we need to get to the hospital now. Two hours later, we had a new baby.

She’s healthy and happy, sleeps okay (depending on the night) and we are so happy to have her in our family!

Waiting for the doctor

Grabbing on to the stethoscope
She loved being under the warmer
Getting weighed. Came in at 6lbs 1oz
Family of 7!
Big sister!
Lucas loves his new sister

Not sure what to think

Watching the first bath
She loved it!
All cleaned up

Getting to hold his sister the next day
Ready to go home
