Thanksgiving

We had a good Thanksgiving this year.  We were with the Gregory’s and the kids loved playing with their cousins.  The only downside to all the kids is all the germs, as most everyone ended up getting sick, which wasn’t a fun end to the Thanksgiving weekend.

The kids got to open a present on Thanksgiving, one from their cousins, as not all the cousins will be there on Christmas.  So they were super excited to do that.  The weather was great as well, which is pretty amazing for this time of year.  The kids spent some time playing outside and going on a walk.

We are extremely grateful for all the blessings we have this year: the new addition to our family, our new house, the health and strength we have, etc, etc.

William’s first food

So we gave William his first taste of food last week.  He’s not quite 6 months old, but we waited longer to give him food then we did Lucas or McKinley, so we figured we’d be okay.  He wasn’t a real fan of it, which you can see in the video below, but I’m sure he’ll come around.

Snow

We got our first big snow storm of the season this weekend.  We woke up Saturday morning to about 3 inches of snow on the ground.  I decided I might have to look for a snow blower, as our driveway is a lot bigger then our old one.

Lucas had fun playing in the snow and making a snowman.  McKinley really wanted to, but she’s been sick the last few weeks, so we didn’t want her out in the cold.  She’s on her second round of antibiotics, so we’re hoping she gets better soon.
