Father and Son’s

We had our father and son’s campout at Heise again this year. There was a lot less people this year then last, not sure why, but we still had a good time. It had been rainy the previous few days and it was overcast the day we went up, but the rain held off.

Jazz game and motocross race

Kryssi’s dad had invited Lucas and I to go to a motocross race with him and most of her brothers in April. This was on a Saturday in SLC and it just happened the Jazz had a playoff game the night before. So I got tickets to that and Lucas and I went down early to catch that game.

It was the first game he’s been to and the first game I’ve been to in a while and it was a good one. It was game 6 of their playoff series, they ended up winning the game which won the series. It was crazy loud in the arena and a lot of fun.

This is the storm that passed by the other day. We got a tornado warning, which is really rare here. There was an actual tornado that touched down (even more rare), but not by us. The news came on with all the warnings and it scared the kids, but it was fun to watch the storm pass by, with all the lightning and thunder.

Easter

For Easter this year, we went to the easter egg hunt at Taylor Park. It was a little chilly but not too bad. The kids all got lots of eggs and it was all done in 15 minutes, which is always nice.

Then after watching conference, we went to the Gregory’s and dyed easter eggs and did another easter egg hunt.
